NH-8 is a part of NH-48. In India, National Highway 8 (NH 8) is a 4-lane (or 6-lane in most places) highway. The national capital Delhi is connected to the financial hub Mumbai via this route, which passes through many cities including Gurgaon. Between Sector 76 and Sector 95, it is made up of numerous expanding sectors. The highway is part of the Golden Quadrilateral project undertaken by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) making it a highly lucrative commercial lane.

It is well-connected to Delhi via the Dwarka Expressway and NH-48. The main roads that serve NH8 include the Southern Peripheral Road, the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, and the Northern Peripheral Road. The Huda City Center Metro Station, the Indira Gandhi International Airport, and the New Delhi railway station are all conveniently connected via the Yellow Line of the DMRC metro.
