Kharadi is a suburb in northeast Pune and is a major employment hub. Major routes include Beed-Ahmednagar Pune Road, Kharadi South Main Road, and Fountain Road, and Mundhwa-Kharadi Bypass Road serves the area.

Kharadi and the rest of the city are well connected. Pune Railway Station is 11 km from here and around 2 km from the airport. Expected to open soon, the proposed Ramwadi Metro Station is expected to strengthen connectivity even further. PMPML Buses, cabs, and autorickshaws are other common means of travel.

Kharadi primarily serves the IT/ITeS industry, where major office buildings in EOI IT Park, situated on more than 45 acres of land, are home to organizations like WIPRO, TATA, Reliance, Polaris, Zensar, and others. Magarpatta, Keshav Nagar, Mundhva, and other significant tech parks are nearby.

Ashok Nagar, Yashwant Nagar, Shetkari Nagar, and Thite Nagar are a few of the neighborhood's well-liked residential areas. ZOLO PGs also serve here amongst others. Amanora Mall, Global Highstreet, Fortune Plaza, Gold Plaza, and Global Highstreet are a few significant markets and malls. Across the region is the Mula-Mutha River. It has parks and fun zones like Rajmata Jijau Oxygen Park, and Kharadi Garden.
