The Sarkhej – Gandhinagar Highway, also commonly known as the SG Highway in Gujarat. The SG Highway links Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, the state's largest cities. It makes up the majority of NH 147, which runs between Sarkhej and Chiloda, which is close to Gandhinagar. This important highway serves both public and commercial transportation, and as it approaches Gandhinagar, there is a significant construction boom.

SG Highway is well-connected to the rest of Gujarat. The Chandkheda Railway Station is the one closest to the SG Highway. The neighborhood is served by city buses by Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS). Autorickshaws and cabs are also easily available and common means of transport.

Tech parks and job sectors are located along SG Highway. Some well-known tech parks in the area are Intas Zydus Corporate Park, Biopharmaceuticals Corporate Office, Mondeal Square, etc.

It has many PGs like Gurukrupa, Surya, Hello PG, etc., and rental homes in the nearby areas like Vasant Nagar, Chandkheda, Satellite, and Bodkadev. Chharodi Lake, Gobindham Gurudwara, ISKCON Temple, etc. serve as the recreational spot. It has many malls some of which are Acropolis Mall, Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad, ISCON Mall, etc.

SG Highway, because of its prime location is a famous and high in demand for office location.
