When we changed school for our daughter, Prarthana, the solicitous teachers of DAV made the transition facile. Prarthana was lucky to have the same class teacher Ms. Eti Wahal madam in grade 4&7, under whose benevolent guidance and disciplined mentoring, she has become a proud DAVian and looks forward to going to school everyday. The DAV management, Principal Dr. Nivedita Ganguli madam and the exemplary teachers keep on finding innovative and interesting way to indulge the students in every activity regarding syllabus study or sports, personality development, etc. The academic year includes learning a musical instrument, vocal training, art and craft, sports, personality development, etc. along with their intricately well - developed syllabus. The day starts with Antarang - the morning assembly that addresses specific occasions and issues which are prepared and presented by the students themselves. DAV has 'Reading time' of 10 min thrice a week in which everyone including the students, teachers and the staff read a book as the bell rings. The monthly Havans by the students help them connect to our traditions. Kathanjali, a weekly program for students and parents based on Shlokas from Shri Bhagwad Gita is an applaudable and thoughtful idea. I would conclude that DAV International School is nurturing my child in a wholesome way, evolving her not only academically but also intellectually, spiritually, physically and socially to become a good human being, for which I will be always indebted. DAV is doing excellent in all the field especially giving lots of exposure to children. Specially they focuses on Life skill learning with the concepts of SHREEMAD BHAGWAD GEETA and hands on activities related to our tradition & religion. I really appreciate the endless efforts of Teaches & Principle Ma’am. My daughter is groomed very well in positive & friendly environment. Only a jeweller can identify a diamond and ‘shape’ someone into something great and can found the art hidden inside. My child is privilege to get opportunities of stage performance every time that boots her confidence and motivation. She learn “Shreemad Bhagwad Geeta”, Whole “Agni Hom' Shlokas" and many more shloka with the help and effort of Teachers.

"Share details of your own experience with this place" is what the text box told me. To be honest, I don't think I could ever condense 10 years' worth of experiences in any form, let alone a review. DAV International provides an amazing environment for not just studying, but learning as a whole in various ways, including, but certainly not limited to, co-scholastic activities such as sports, Yoga and teaching students various Visual and Performing Arts like playing the guitar, keyboard and Tabla. The excellent teachers put their heart and soul into making learning fun and engaging through interactive activities and projects that broaden the students' scope of each subject. What makes DAV stand out though certainly has to be its unique approach to developing students' non-academic skills. Aside from the traditional weekly school assemblies, DAV also has Antrang sessions each morning prior to regular classes, in which students partake in several activities pertaining to commemorative days (for instance, Doctors' Day), historical figures in society, and the like. DAV has a "Personality Development" period at the end of Friday, which, as the name suggests, aims to enrich students' personality through activities that involve teamwork, creativity and brainstorming which help inculcate useful skills in students like time management, problem solving, presentation skills, and much more. Occasionally, DAV also hosts events like, say, devoting a week to learning languages like Sanskrit, or by hosting various fairs and functions which bring together not just students, but even their parents and families. Overall, DAV, through its magnificent approach to learning, has become a place where students learn how to not just become academic prodigies, but also how to become better people.

Below average school. Do not trust the teachers or principal at all as they say things that are hardly practiced by them in the first place. Condition of the infrastructure is pathetic, even poorer than the schools in villages. No exposure to any extra curricular activities or child development except regular studies and that too parents have to get the work done and they won't even bother to check. They don't have tie up with Olympiad so kids won't be able to give exams.
